Sana Raees Khan is an Indian Lawyer from Mumbai who practices at High Court and Supreme Court of India.[1][2][3] She is known for Sheena Bora and Aryan Khan Drug Case.[4] Sana also participated as a contestant on the Indian reality TV show, Bigg Boss Season 17.[5][6][7][8][9][10][11][12] Sana also launched law firm titled 'SRK Legal' near Bombay High Court.[13]

Early Life[edit]

Sana Raees Khan was born into a Muslim family in Mumbai to Advocate Raees Khan.[14] She completed her BLS LL.B from Rizvi College, Bandra and completed her LL.M from Mumbai University.[15][16][17]

Career[edit]

Sana Raees Khan started her practice after completing her LL.B and known for high-profile cases like murder cases, encounter cases and drugs cases.[18][19]

Sana Raees Khan defended Avin Sahu who was the first accused in Aryan Khan drug case to be granted bail.[20][21][22]

Sana Raees Khan was Indrani Mukerjea's lawyer in the Sheena Bora murder case. In 2015, Indrani Mukerjea was arrested by the Mumbai Police as the primary accused in the alleged murder of her daughter, Sheena Bora.[23][24][25]

Sana Raees Khan is also seen in Netflix's Documentary-Series titled Indrani Mukerjea Story : Buried Truth.[26][27]

Sana also secured bail for Vaibhav Raut in Nalasopara Bomb case involving the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA).[28] She was also the defense lawyer for Binder Gujjar in the Haryana fake encounter case.[29][30]

Sana also won Bhiwandi building collapse case representing builder Indrapal Patil who was granted bail.[31][32][33]
