Villowo

VILLOWO[1] is ball and villowo (the instrument used to strike the ball) game that is played between two teams of 10 players on each side for 20 overs. In Villowo[1] sport unlike in cricket sport each over is made of five positive balls. The laws of Villowo are maintained by Villowo International Council (VIC) which is the World Governing Body for the Sport Villowo. Raghu Kumar Raghavelu a Social Entrepreneur and Wellness researcher from Bengaluru, India, designed and launched the sport Villowo on 5 August 2012 to promote health through sports.

Thus the sport Villowo[1] origins are from India and are first recorded in Bengaluru, South-India on 5 August 2012.
